Während ganz Europa bei Temperaturen von 30–40 °C schwitzt, haben wir heute bei perfektem Golfwetter – Sonne, 24 °C und leichte Brise – wieder einmal ein Pairs-Turnier (Format Chapman) auf dem Praia d'el Rey Golfcourse gespielt. Obwohl wir für unsere Verhältnisse nicht gut gespielt haben – wir haben 2 Löcher gestrichen – sind wir auf dem 4. Platz (von 28 Teams) gelandet.
Was sagt die Spielkommission dazu?
Another great day for playing golf in less than 30 degrees as the rest of Europe suffers. Course was in great condition and the greens especially were running fast.
Some great scores, but one in particular stole the day. Well done to Nelson Rodriguez and Rob Walsh with a tremendous 46 points.
Second, with another very good score of 44 points Beate Salvador and George Bock.
Third place David Carruth and Yvette Newton 43 points.
Fourth place Kerstin Bell and Peter Quenzer 40 points.
